Abstract Format

• Abstracts should be written in English and submitted on-line only.
• Justify all text to left margin and use single line spacing.
• Title, author list and affiliation(s) should be followed by one return.
• Font: Arial, normal style. Use "symbol" font for special characters.
• Title: FULL TITLE IN CAPITAL BOLD LETTERS.
• Author(s): Full name of authors, with the presenting author in bold and underlined (same name as on the registration form). Names should be separated by a semicolon. Each name should be followed by the superscript number related to the affiliation.
• Affiliation: Superscript number followed by institution name
• Text: Subheadings (Introduction, Objective, Methodology, Results and Conclusions) in bold.
• Footnote: Indicate sources of financial support.
• Abstracts not complying with the above specifications will not be accepted.
Special attention should be given to written English, as abstracts containing spelling, orthographic or grammatical mistakes will be rejected.
• Abstract must be saved in the rich text format (rtf).
In your word processing program, go to the file menu and choose Save As.
Change the type to Rich Text Format (RTF).

• Abstract size should not exceed 3.5" x 5" (88.9mm x 127mm).
• Margins for Letter size:
Top - 1" (25.4 mm)
Bottom - 5" (127 mm)
Left - 2.5" (63.5 mm)
Right - 2.5" (63.5 mm).
• Margins for A4 size
Top - 25.4 mm (1")
Bottom - 144.6 mm (5.693")
Left - 60.55 mm (2.384")
Right - 60.55 mm (2.384").
• These margins create the actual size your abstract will be published (four per page). Adjust font size as necessary. Do not shrink your font to less than 7 points.
• There is no fee for abstract submission. However, abstracts will only be fully processed after registration of the presenting author.
• The acceptance letter for the approved abstract will be available on the website as from November 10th, 2009, including all necessary information and rules for poster presentation.
